I am currently running a batch program on an AS/400 that saves a library or group of objects into a save file and then FTP's the save file to a remote AS/400. I would like to restore the savf on the remote system in this single step. Is there a way to execute a program our command on the remote system via FTP. I am using only TCP/IP as the transport protocal. The source system is a model 500-2142 V4R3M0 and the target system is a 720 running V4R4. Any help would be appreciated.
