I have a lot of queries I have to write regarding dates, and I tried so hard
to get a date value to a date field in query.  In our DDS they are defined
as numeric, and for the life of me I couldn't get them to be cast to date
as a result field.  That would of solved all my problems.

If there is a way to convert a numeric field to a date in query, I would just
love to know how to do it.
