Have you tried setting up printer on PC as Default printer (No control
sequences) and set printer port to print to file. Then use rumba print to print
to that print, when print job runs, you will be prompted for file name.

Subject: Spool file to PC

I was wondering if anyone on this list has used the Rumba file transfer
program or if any one had made up there own one in VB.
We have only Rumba 95/NT and I need to send some files to the PC instead of
the printer.
Im trying not to reinvent the wheel here.
I have some old old sample code for win 3.1 from Chris Peters AS/400 Client
Server book but wish to use a more up to date aproach.
Any ideas where to start would be great.
