... confines the search to column 7 and will therefore hide only the
comments. Unfortunately in SEU HIDE does not behave like FIND. Vicious,
isn't it?

h * 7 all  

in the seu prompt field.

h       is the code for hide, 
 * 7 all        will hide all lines with a * in pos 7, ie all comments.

F5 will refresh display to bring them all back !
