Well, I know in Windows 98 if you use the internet wizard you can set up a PPP account, and you can have it automatically disconnect once it detects that the network is not being used. I don't see why this can't be used for any PPP account. You can get to the internet wizard by going to the HELP [start][help] and typing "internet" in the index. One of the options is the internet connection wizard.
