I am sure you will get plenty of replies to this.

I use Client Access to do just what you are describing for a few different
attached users. With the assistance of others on this list, I have also set
up TCP/IP printers on the LAN without using any attached PC. I liked the
TCP/IP approach better, but both have their place. Both were also fairly
straightforward to set up. I am using OS/400 V4R4 and letting the system
define the Client Access printer. Just set it up through emulation, clicking
on printer instead of terminal.
