This is simply not true. I was a consultant for many years, and I can tell 
you that I always attempted to conduct myself in such a way as to provide 
the best overall benefit for my client, regardless of the effect on my 
billing revenue. I don't believe that my attitude is unique either. As with 
anything, there are exceptions, but most of us are professionals who take 
our fiduciary responsibilities seriously.
