Since the PTF save file is a different release/version you cannot SNDNETF it. But you can FTP it to the V4R3 system. I used to do this all the time withe our V3R2 and V4R3 system. The only thing you need to be carefull about is any pre/co-req PTF's. they won't come along when the ptf is ordered to a "wrong" version system Bryan Dietz "Boring, David M" <david.boring@eds.c To: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com om> cc: Sent by: Subject: Forcing PTF order to CD owner-midrange-l@mi drange.com 12/03/99 04:57 PM Please respond to MIDRANGE-L Is there any way, through ECS, to order a PTF and force it to ship on CD? I have a machine at V430 that does not have an ECS modem and I wanted to order the PTF through a machine with V410. It downloaded the file to QGPL on the V410 machine, but since it is an up-version file I'm not even sure if I can save it to tape. Any thoughts? Thanks!
