• Subject: override tape file in CL

We are trying to copy a file to to an 8mm tape.
In a CL program we initialize the tape to *FMT2GB.
The device type default is 7gig.
Then we do an override of the qtape file as follows:
      OVRTAPF FILE(QTAPE) REELS(*NL) DENSITY(*FMT2GB)
Then we run the CPYTOTAP command.
The command errors out because of bad density type. The override is not
working. Any suggestions. We are on a version 4 release 2.
We have done something similar in an OCL36 procedure and it works there.

TIA
Ron
