There are PC based courses and Books available from MIDRANGE Computing and  Duke
Press(News400).  They both have Web sites.

IBM has free down load of the AS400 Manuals and Redbooks,  but do not expect to
find good programming standards  in the White Books, the Redbooks are another
story.   I happen to be on Version 4 Release 3.
