With all due respect, I disagree with David.

Try converting the RPG cycle into COBOL.  I'd rather give birth to the 
Green Bay Packers, all at once, than attempt this.

I suspect that a COBOL to RPG port is possible, RPG IV being significantly 
easier, but I don't know of a utility.

I'd be game at writing one, but I suspect the cost of creating such a beast 
might exceed it's useful value.

I did have a Text Management/38 to Microsoft RTF conversion tool written 
some years ago.
