There are some steps outlined in the Backup and Recovery Guide on how to 
do this.  See
Recovering after a Complete System Loss-Checklist 17

I don't recommend using the next check list, even though it sounds more 
applicable - Restoring Your Information to a New System-Checklist 18.  Since 
it says '... to restore your information from a previous-release RISC-based 
system to a later-release RISC-based system. '  and you'll be on the same 
release.  Follow the steps very carefully.  Make sure that you've used option 
21 to save your system.  And remember the prompts about restoring to different 
hardware.  This method works, we've used it.

Since you are restoring the entire system, disregard my earlier
advice....
My apologies... I thought you were going to move a box with OS/400
"already"
on it....
