Yes, but if you are waiting on a journal for new entries (ala MIMIX) so
you can go do something or use the info to update a summary file, there
is really no good way to "group" the journal accesses. 

Thanks, I have what I wanted to know.  (Not that I like it, but it may
just be the 2x4 these guys need to get off their CISC)
