Let me make a negative recommendation ... DON'T use anything from
Distribution Information Systems Corporation (out of Charlotte NC). We have
their Beverage Management Information System and it is a pile of doggy
residue ...

1. Bugs.
2. It was bought back in early 1998 (before I started working here) because
it was supposed to be Y2K compliant, but while the database mostly is, a lot
of the programs weren't.
3. Bugs.
4. A lot of programs with program-described files, extensive use of
indicators, cycle handling of WORKSTN files, and other such RPG II
"features".
5. Bugs.
6. A real lack of validating screen input fields; including date fields with
no validation at all.
7. Bugs.
8. Spaghetti code.
9. Bugs.
