I took this test back in August.. It is very difficult.. You need to
understand the AS/400
product line. You will need to know certain aspects of the hardware and what
is allowed
for certain configurations.

I've had about 8 years experience on the AS/400. Mostly programming, but I
am also responsible for
any configurations that we do for our customers. You need to study the
AS/400 handbooks that most
of the salespeople carry around with them.

If I remember correctly, there used to be a practice test for this.. If you
go to www.ibm.com/certify,
you should be able to see what the course entails.. It will give you a
suggested outline of study and
maybe a few practice questions. There used to be a practice test that you
could take for a fee, but
I don't know if that is still available.
