Consultants (was Re: AS/400 job market)

I didn't _CHOOSE_ them, I was merely forced to _WORK_ with them as part of 
diverse teams put in place by various clients!  The point was, if you gouge 
too deep trying to find cheap consultants/contractors, you're bound to end up 
with something like this on a large enough team.  For this very reason, I can 
still count the number of independents that I would personally recommend to a 
client on both hands after nearly twenty years in the business.  And I still 
have several fingers left on the second hand...
