Try 'AS400 Application Development Using COBOL/400'  by Gerald Kaplan 

We had a contract converting VAX-VMS COBOL to AS400 COBOL and used it every day.

It covers many topics including:

COBOL400 & subfiles,

COBOL400 & CL,

COBOL400 & APIs,

COBOL400 enhancements,

COBOL400 & PRTfiles

COBOL400 & error management and return codes,

compiler directives.

It is good because it covers more than just COBOL. It covers the many issues you have to deal with when forcing COBOL to operate in and RPG world.
