RE: Anybody know what to look for in a Trace Route for SMTP?

Here is what one of the looping parts looks like:

client_main: started                         
client_main: request param 2,call timeoutck  
timeoutck: started                           
timeoutck: ended                             
client_main: ended with return code 0        
check_retries() called                       
check_retries returned, rc: 0                
To switch on state of Mail_CB                
Mail state: CRSLVMAIL_STATE, 00000003        

In another part (before this), it looks like it is looping doing the DNS
resolution.  Before it gets to the above, it goes from one DNS server 1, to
DNS server 2 to DNS server 3, and then back to DNS server 1.  It does this
about 4 times and then goes to the loop shown above.

I just wish I could make more sense of the report I got.  I have a feeling
the network guys made some changes.  

Any idea what this means:

 D.N.Server response RR is NS-type 

That seems to be part of the DNS resolution loop.
