You'll need host table entries that look like this for each machine:
nnn.nnn.nn.nn     xxxxxx.APPN.SNA.IBM.COM   
nnn.nnn.nn.n      yyyyyy.APPN.SNA.IBM.COM   

where nn-n is the IP address and xxx and yyy are the machine names.
(I'm not sure about the 'IBM.COM' bit - we put it on, because that's
what the redbook says, and it works.
