BOB,
        I think they were prepare it just hard to fight something that you
cannot see...specially if its coming from multiple places (from what Zdnet
say at least 1000+ pc s attacked at the same time...its intimidating to
think that you have 1000+ hackers doing this from all over the world
conducting this attacks simultaneously.....
