Thanks to all who answered about speeding up ODBC and alternatives.  All
suggestions are great, but budgetary constraints exist. 

I was thrilled to hear that the new version of VA/RPG will generate java
applets.  I am currently at V4R3 OS/400 and Code V3R2M1.  Do I need V4R4 to
run Code V3R2M2 that will do the Java?

I think it would be great to create Java applets instead of having to write
in VBscript for our NT Web stuff.
