Hi Jon,

As I understand it, and Barbara Morris's post seems to agree, a main
procedure cannot return a value and therefore cannot be called implicitly as
in

    eval    x=procedure(y)

whereas a subprocedure can.

I guess I still tend to think of a main procedure as a "program" and
subprocedures as procedures or subprocedures, but I can see that there are
differences, and some fairly significant ones too.
