Without going into too much detail, when a file is open with 
REUSEDLTRCD(*YES) specified, a "deleted record map" is created for that 
job.  When the job needs to add a record, it checks the available first 
slot from the map, if it's still available, it fills it.  When another job 
(that presumably opened the file at the same time goes to use that already 
filled slot, it goes on to the next, and so on and so on.  If another job 
opens the file at a later time, it gets a fresh (revised) map.

Here's the rub, if you have programs that read the records in arrival 
sequence where the logic of the program counts on the fact that record "n" 
is older (written prior to) that record "n+1", it will likely break your 
application.

On the other hand, is you code for this, you may never have to do another 
re-org!

Second rub, the deleted space stay's allocated until the data is refilled, 
or until the file is really re-orged using RGZPFM.
