No, DEL and ERASE and both synonyms for the RMVLNK command.  Try
prompting them on your 400 and you'll see what I mean.  (Then press
Help.)

And using the syntax Rob suggested lets you affect more than just
PC/LAN type objects.  If you are familiar with the NAMEFMT options in
FTP, this is the same concept.  Things in the /qsys.lib/... structure
are the traditional objects you are familiar with.

Note that instead of specifying an explicit object type, you can also
use a wildcard as in:

RmvLnk '/qsys.lib/mylib.lilb/myobj.*'

which will delete any object named MYOBJ in MYLIB regardless of object
type.  However, a file by that name which contains members still needs
to have the members removed first as in Rob's example.
