Subject: Code analysis tools.
We are in the process of starting a project in which we will be analyzing
and enhancing a home-grown legacy system written in all flavors of RPG. I
have sent out an RFI for code and database analysis tools and have gotten
two responses back. I'm wondering if: 1.) Anyone has any experience with
these two tools and 2;) Can anyone recommend any other tools that they have
used to do systems analysis.
We're looking for analysis tools that are more robust than Abstract/Probe
and Hawkeye, so don't bother responding with comments about these products.
The tools I have gotten RFI responses on are:
DATABOROUGH X-analysis
Arcad Software Observer
thanks in advance,
bob
