Nimal - Taken from a memo I received from IBM SupportLine just the other day...... Below is the procedure to start the trace with Collection Services. Before you start the trace however, you should ensure that the trace file is big enough. I was going to do this during our conversation but I got off onto other issues. STRSST, option 1, option 2, option 2 SYSTEM DEFAULT TRACE TABLE, ensure the table size is approximately 10% of the total memory size (find via WRKSHRPOOL), ensure Wrap Allowed is N. PF12. To start the trace, do the following: 1. TRCINT *ON TRCTYPE(*TTPERF *MPL *TNS) Trace type needs to be in this order 2. TRCINT *HOLD ( stops collection) 3. DMPTRC -Specifying the member and library created from CRTPFRDTA against the collection services data. To find this do a WRKACTJOB SBS(QSYSWRK). For job CRTPFRDTA do an option 5, then option 14. Or I assume you are using QMPGDATA as the library, so do a GO PERFORM and just take a 3 option to get the list of members. After the DMPTRC has completed, you can run a 3=Transaction Report ,*Summary <from performance tools>. -----Original Message----- From: JDE Temp 1 [mailto:JDETEMP1@legacyptr.com] Sent: Thursday, March 30, 2000 2:42 PM To: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com Subject: STRJOBTRC Command Hi Falks, Could someone tell me what happened to the STRJOBTRC command from V4R3 onwards? This has gone missing. If it is the case, is there another compatible command to take its role from V4R3 onwards?
