Have you considered both >Net.Data and WebSphere? And if so, why did you choose >one over the other? I've used Net.Data and CGI. I prefer CGI over Net.Data because I like to write in RPGIV rather than the Net.Data macros. I am in the process of learning WebSphere and servlets. What's slowing me down is I have to learn Java first. I like the admin feature of WebShere and I like how I can load a servlet and watch it's activity. As far as a definition of WebSphere, I think of it as a bridge between the HTTP server and a JVM (i.e middleware). The HTTP server handles all non-Java requests and then hands the Java requests off to WebSphere to handle.
