 Very Good Simon.  Admitting the problem is half of the cure!  I'm a bit
concerned about the 'We', however.  I for one do not feel misguided at all.  I
think it's perfectly normal to WONDER WHAT THE HECK THAT DEVELOPER WAS

 Now Now, hostilities will not help your condition.  Let the poor guy think he's
right it'll be great punishment to make him press an extra function key every
time he sees that panel. One Stinking Function Key and we should put a CAR 
SPRING
underneath it. Make him STAND on the sucker to get it to move, yah that's it! 
He'll never see real file statistics again! ....
