I am trying to go through my Ethernet card. At my job, for example, we use
0004AC47A4ED. But I only know that because it is in our notes to set up
Client Access. It also happens to be on the text of our ETHLINE *LIND
object. But I could not find the command that would tell me what this
number is on my machine at home.

Are you saying that I could substitute APPN.MYAS400NAME in place of the
number above?

Joe is this an SNA connection?
It should be netid.systemname

ie: APPN.ECSATL

Try doing a DSPNETA to check these values.
