Yeah, have logged a call for them to come out tomorrow to look at it; its
opened up another can of worms though that is slightly more important (see
other post)!
I did the u/g with no tapes loaded in the actual drive; however there was a
magazine in, and the clean tape was in its slot....don't know whether this
was bad or not.
To get the microcode level you can bring it up from the menu; i think its
under service (scroll down).
