ANYNET does add overhead, but it is *not* encapsulation. ANYNET adds an
MPTN adaptation layer on top of network layer.

Data Link Switching *is* encapsulation. It has higher overhead than MPTN
approach, but when done outboard on a specialized hardware it is not
important.
