Alan,
We are using EMC enterprise storage for our backup and recovery stragegy
SRDF options to mirror to an off site location virtually up to any distance
Also for backups we are using EMC storage & software

We have 99.9 % availability for our As/400 systems, for the last 2 years

Backup strategy includes full system save, incremental saves, with no downtime
We also use Data Mirror product to mirror to a whole range of hosts, including As/400s, NT, unix etc

I am not in sales but for 7 x 24 shops I think EMC disk storge & software is basically second to none
We are using Storage Area networks in our site using fiber hubs, fiber cards etc
Visit the following EMC sites

would like to know who has 24/7 shop and how they are managing. What are
you using for backup, and disaster recovery solutions?

We have several accounts that have this need, and we use the Mimix products from Lakeview.

As to D/R, you can fundamentally take two different approaches: Al

Separately I have a questions regarding Network attached storage. Is anyone
using this in conjunction with their 400? Does anyone know if it works? Is
there any documentation I could look into?

Any and all help will be appreciated.
