Subject: ALERTFIL problem............

Dear All,
We have an entry level AS/400 running SSP and not OS/400.   Recently we
have had a third party emulation product installed via Token Ring.  Since
the installation a system file, named ALERTFIL has appeared, and whenever a
user logs off the system, details of their logging off are in fact written
to this file, where previously the msg was written to the console.   Has
anybody out there any experience of this, and if so, how do I disable this
file, and return to the status quo??

Regards
