Thank You very much David! I'm about to invest in an 'C For  RPG Programmers' book which may get me over the meat and potatoes stuff. In the  meantime there's been a couple of people who've been very helpful and forthcoming with information. I t will be interesting to see how big a community there is out there. Or has Java usurped the position that C previously held?
