No, you can't view the entire 24x80 screen but the TN5250 has a slick way of handling this.  You can only view about 1/3 of the screen at a time but there is a "slider box" which you move to view whichever part you want to see.  Works well.

David - Do you get full 24X80 screen support when you connect this way? If so, it must be a pretty small font....

You bet.  I have a Palm (Palm IIIc) and am using MochaSoft's TN5250 for Palm (called Mocha Pocket TN5250).  Works great for those times you don't want to carry your laptop and just need to check on things.  You'll need network dial-in access (we use RAS) and then just use the TN5250.
