Rather than schedule this on the 400, I would enter it as a Scheduled
Task on your PC. To see if it is enabled, check in the Services
dialogue box of the control panel. It basically enables use of the AT
command, which allows commands or programs to be run on the PC at a
given time/date/interval. You just drag & drop into the scheduler
what you want to run, then click on the icon once, then click on
properties to schedule the date/time etc.

Unless, of course, you are trying to download the file as a last step
in the AS400 job that is creating/maintaining the file and the end
time of that job fluctuates. In which case, my other suggestion would
be to disable the PC text assist on the command by using:

     Subject: strpco question

I am trying to start an Access database with the strpco and strpccmd.
But I keep gettin bad command or file name. I can RUN this same
path name from the START/Run path. This database brings down data
from the AS/400 to be used by access for display on the web page. I
would like to automate the process of the update by running it in the
     early a.m.

        CHGVAR VAR(&CMD) +

                     AUBURN PURCHASING\PURCH_UPDATE.MDB')
        STRPCO
