I emailed support about the KAK virus and haven't heard back from them
yet. 
But if they can or won't upgrade their virus protection then you can get
Norton Internet Security 2000 or Internet Security 2000 Family Edition.
These both have virus protection using a sort of sandbox for email
attachments where they are held and scanned. 

A few cool things with Security 2000 and Family Edition that Zone Alarm
doesn't have are Privacy control (this keeps web sites from getting
personal info via script) and they have parental control features that
let ya keep the kiddies outta trouble. It's only $79 bucks and maybe for
a family guy the extra features are worth the price.
