If you have sufficient authority, use STRCMNTRC and TRCICF to look at the
data going out the phone line.  Are you 100% certain that you are checking
the major/minor return code after EVERY I/O operation?  Are you seeing any
major/minor errors?  QSYSOPR reporting any errors?  Check the LIND, CTLD and
DEVD to make sure they match except for RSRCNAME.
