If you are using RMTOUTQs you loose page control(which lines to print) I
know one of the fine people here on the list has a utility to handle this
but can't remember who that is a the moment. Or you will need to cfg those
printers as real devices not just RMTOUTQs.

The other problem is that the 400 is doing COR and forcing a font
somewhere in the range of 17cpi. Use the WSCST function to and add/change
the
TAG:

:CPICOR
  CPI=15
  ASCIIFNT=  255
  FNTWTH=   84
  FNTATR=    1
  DATA =''X.

:CPICOR
  CPI=15
  ASCIIFNT=  203              <<<<<< change
  FNTWTH=   84
  FNTATR=    1
  DATA =''X.

This is a 13cpi font which does a good job of filling a page with text.

Please respond to MIDRANGE-L

        To:     MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com
        cc:
        Subject:        IP PRINT AGAIN

OUR HARDWARE GROUP HAVE SWAPPED SEVERAL PRINTERS FROM SNA TO IP. ONCE THEY

ARE SWITCHED THE PRINTERS DON'T SEEM TO RESPOND TO THE AS400 PRINT CODES.

ALL REPORTS PRINT COMPRESSED. IF YOU DO A PAGE RANGE PRINT YOU STILL GET
THE
WHOLE REPORT.

ONE GROUP THINKS WE SHOULD FIX THIS BY ROLLING THE 400 OUT THE DOOR AND
BRING
IN A BILL GATES SPECIAL.

THANKS JEFFG(SORRY MY PC IS STUCK IN CAPS)
