                Subject: Telnet Server

Is it possible to have two instances of the telnet server
active at once??
Even if it required different ports??? One of our
developers is testing Telnet Exit Programs and it would be nice if we could
isolate his tests to a separate insance of the Telnet server so that he
didn't disrupt his own and other programmers development environment.
Anyone have a clue as to how to try this?

As I can recall you can't do this. If you add a new port for
telnet to the Service Table , next time Telnet starts will try to use the
first in sequence.
If you are on V4R4 , with CA Express you could probably try
the secure Telnet which uses a different Telnet server on a different port
