Off subject, but really cool software

This is a bit off subject, so lets not start a public discussion...but this
software is so cool, I just have to give it a plug.

It is called VMWare (www.vmware.com ) and provides a "virtual Pentium" to
run "guest"  operating systems.

What this means is your primary OS is WinNT or Linux.  That is the "Host"
OS.  You then create a virtual machine with VMWare, load the new OS (say
Win98) in it.  Now you have a fully featured and running version of Win98 in
a window of your Linux System.  This virtual machine has access to your CD,
Network (controllable) and up to 2 gig of disk.

You can use WinNT or various Linux flavors for the Guest Operating System.
An a whole list of supported guest systems.

For developers, support folks, or Linux folks who must use MS Excel, this is
much better than a multi-boot manager. Because you can have ALL of the
active at ONE time! (presuming you have the disk & ram available).

Check it out.  For some of us, it is worth the $99 home or $299 commercial
versions (same binary's, different license).  If they where a public
company, I'd be calling my broker right now.
