Speaking of Client Access Express, how does one change the default user
name for the sign-in dialog box?

What release of CA are you on? That tab is fairly recent - perhaps the
last
two years. If possible, you should be on CA Express - it is a much better
than the XD1 product. If you are on XE1, then I don't know why the tab
isn't there. I have it on my machine and I am running V4R4 SF60698.

Does anyone know how to get to the ODBC driver's Performance tab noted in
the AS400Network Tech Tip: Better Access ODBC Performance? I don't see it
on our CA.
This tab has a setting 'enable lazy close support' which causes the CA
ODBC
driver to ignore Access's frequent file open and close requests.

TIA,
Theresa
