I don't know much about dumb terminals, but on my consoles I have a twinax
dumb terminal base with VGA adapter at the back, so I attached  a 21inch LCD
monitor on to it and it works great, maybe this is what you are looking for,
plus the fact you can attach a PS2 mouse and a barcode scanner onto it for
manufacturing operators
looks pretty cool too as I got a black IBM LCD monitor
