If these guys want something more techie than cgi - there are sockets
programs available, or something like MQ Series (have no idea volume of data
you are serving)
This sounds like something I ran into-the web guys were all about screen
design & forms, and when we said the "D" word (database) they had no clue.
They wanted to e-mail us the orders! (a Big Web Developer!) Go with
something that is portable on their end (in case your cust is not happy with
the Cold fusion serving-then write the front end for an AS/400 eXtreme Web
