If your IBM UPS is a really a rebadged a.n.other, this may show you it's
status.

I suggest Linux because I dont think there's a way to access the UPS port
from OS400?
But seeing as so many people are suffering from a fault that is defeating
the purpose of having a UPS, perhaps there's a way of predicting UPS
failures by checking their status every so often?
