While Eric's list is correct 'by the book', I use express to connect to V3R2 machines frequently. You can only connect TCP/IP (no surprise) and you only get OpsNav support for Basic operations (jobs and spool files). You cannot access shared folders at all so if this is a requirment then you must stick with the XD1 client unless you are OS/400 V4R2 or newer.
