Record capacity is only the amount of records the file can grow to before
being extended or becoming "full".
By default it is:
Member size SIZE
Initial number of records . . . . . . . . : 10000
Increment number of records . . . . . . . : 1000
Maximum number of increments . . . . . . : 3
Maximum number of increments . . . . . . : 3
Record capacity . . . . . . . . . . . . . . : 13000
I would dare say that at some time in the past, your file has possibly held
over 5m records or has been compuled with a bigger capacity.
The data space size is determined by other factors such as deleted records
etc..
