Bill, We recently moved to a 170 and we are experiencing similar difficulties with a 4234 printout. Print output is being mixed up and is leading to a great deal of confusion as you might imagine. If you get find out the source of the problem please let me know. Thanks in advance Conor Farrell -----Original Message----- From: owner-midrange-l@midrange.com [mailto:owner-midrange-l@midrange.com] Sent: 09 August 2000 05:47 To: midrange-l@midrange.com Subject: 4234 Printer on a 730 at V4R4 We are experiencing a strange problem. Our 4234's are acting up ever since we went on the 730 from our old 310. The console thinks they power down, power back up, lose connection, etc. - and - will occassionally mix up the printout page. In fact, they are acting just fine, the 400 thinks they are goofing around. Our 4224's are all fine, the problem is contained only on the 4234's. IBM H/W doesn't want to bother with it since it's intermittant. Any ideas or similar experiences? Bill __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
