Use query or SQL over the correct member in the QAPMJOBS file. This SQL counts the number of connected jobs and adds up their CPU milliseconds during each interval then displays the list is descending sequence by number of jobs per interval regardless of CPU seconds: select intnum,count(*),sum(jbcpu) from qapmjobs where jbtype = 'I' group by intnum order by 2 desc I think that tn5250 jobs are considered type 'interactive', does anybody know if that is wrong? You could also determine the total number of jobs started per day using select distinct count(*). Is it enough to know how many jobs or do you need to know if they were doing anything during the measurement period? You can also use job accounting and several other techniques for this kind of function.
