This has been one of the biggest and certainly one of the most stupid things IBM can't seem to get right. I have a customer that had several pieces of gear come off maintenance and a lease expiring all at the same time. It took(documented) 45 phone calls and a small forest of paper(letters) and nine months to resolve this mess. These folks have been a "paying" IBM customer for over 20 years and at one point, they considered hiring a person who would do nothing but track and pay the IBM invoices. Between IBM ICC and their maintenance contracts, it is a never ending source of pain. +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
